Our Philosophy
American Martial Arts Academy in Lavale is comprised of a group of dedicated instructors who enjoy teaching and training in the martial arts. Our goal is to help children develop self confidence in their abilities in both the martial arts and in life.

We promote respect for our community and encourage children to work hard in school and to learn to work with others around them. Students are promoted in rank based on demonstrating their knowledge and retention of the curriculum and their degree of respect and dedication to the program.

Welcome to American Martial Arts Academy
American Martial Arts Academy in Lavale opened a new facility in January 2008. The school is located in lower Lavale and has 2250 ft square space. A new padded flooring system was installed and a Pro Shop. Future additions include a locker room/ changing rooms.

Programs We Offer
Take time to explore this website and see the wide variety of martial arts programs we offer from our Little Ninjas Program to our Women's Self Defense Series. We also offer gymnastic classes specializing in tumbling and flexibility.

Team American Martial Arts
Team American Martial Arts is our Demo / Competition team. It is comprised of instructors and students who are dedicated to participating in martial arts team demonstrations and competitions.

Student of the Quarter
Every quarter the instructional staff at American Martial Arts nominates one student for excellence in martial arts. The student is nominated based on class attendance, attitude, skills development, and teamwork. The student receives a $20 movie pass, certificate of recognition and a special belt.
